Siem Toen is 47 years old and has 4 children. When she gave birth, the only help was the local midwife. The midwife was not very skilled and she used a dirty knife.

Chom Lorn is 33 years old and has 3 children. She says her uterus is diseased because the mid wife was not very good. She is inconstant pain and very tired.

Yin Horn is 49 years old and has 10 children – she is still giving birth. Yin Horn has a prolapsed uterus and purulent metritis.

Meas Yeoun is 55 years old and has given birth to 7 children. Her complaints are many – she has a prolapsed uterus, belly aches, breathes badly, is unable to eat or sleep well.

Meas Sama is 47 years old. For years she has been a taxi girl. For the past two years, Meas Sama has been very ill – she has a prolapsed uterus as well as a kidney infections and breast cysts.
