An invitation to stand with us along side the Women of Cambodia

In order to achieve our vision, Nokor Tep Foundation and Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital are in need of patrons; people or organizations who will provide major support for the construction of the hospital and its on-going viability and maintenance.

Privileges and Rights of all Patrons:

  1. To have their names and/or logos prominently displayed, in perpetuity, on the Patrons Board at the entrance to the hospital and also inscribed on the Wall of Caring on the Nokor Tep website
  2. To attend the Annual General Meetings of the Nokor Tep Foundation
  3. To have access to all reports in a timely fashion.
  4. To participate in and/or attend all seminars conducted by the hospital

Responsibilities of all Patrons:

1. Patrons are invited to demonstrate their support to Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital by making a sincere commitment of their patronage with a donation of US$50,000 or more

  1. To sustain an efficient delivery of services, all patrons will be required to read reports and/or come and help evaluate the services provided. Such evaluations will contain clear assessments of what is done well and provide suggestions for improvement.
  2. To maintain the cost effectiveness of the hospital's operation, all patrons are required to pay their own expenses in regard to any involvement with Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital
  3. To extend the cost effectiveness of the hospital's operation, all patrons are asked to share the vision of Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital with other potential patrons

Need for Patrons with Specialized Skills:

1. Medical patrons

There is a need for medical patrons who will willing give of themselves by working with a Cambodian counterpart in Phnom Penh for a period of three years. Medical patrons will have the following privileges:

  • Acknowledgement on a prominently displayed Patrons Board within the hospital
  • Evaluating and helping to design an effective hospital department
  • Developing and implementing training courses
  • Designing and implementing treatment courses that are efficient, cost effective and medically effective
  • Evaluating and presentation of papers on the above
  • of leaving a part of themselves within their counterparts; of leaving behind efficient and effective systems and procedures that can be used to help millions in all developing countries throughout the world

2. Range of medical patrons required

Nokor Tep needs specialists in the areas of gynecology, oncology, radiology, surgery, anesthesiology, pathology, diabetes, blood pressure, nursing, emergency care, public health, hospital administration and management, IT specialists, maintenance engineers, etc.

3. Private Foundations and Individual Patrons

We need private foundations and individuals who are willing to commit to enhancing the vision and needs of Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital. Additional privileges for Private Foundations and Individuals would include:

  • Invited to sit on the Hospital's Evaluation Committee
  • Assist with the development and promotion of the vision of Nokor Tep Women's Hospital locally and internationally
  • An honoured guest at the grand opening, and
  • If you secure the privilege of naming rights to a particular part of the hospital through a minimum contribution of US$250,000, your name or logo will feature in a highly visible location in the appropriate room or area of the hospital

4. Corporate Patrons

Nokor Tep Women's Hospital is seeking a wide range of corporate patrons who could support the Hospital with donations of office and general equipment, medical supplies, cleaning machinery, IT support, etc - with a minimum of two years' training in aspects of the equipment and supplies. Additional privileges for corporate donors would include:

  • Opportunities to present seminars on the efficacy of their equipment in journals, seminars and within their own field of expertise
  • Development, enhancement and testing of newly designed equipment and provide evaluations of the performance, and
  • If you secure the privilege of naming rights to a particular part of the hospital through a minimum contribution of US$250,000, your name or logo will feature in a highly visible location in the appropriate room or area of the hospital

5. Research Patrons

Nokor Tep Women's Hospital will welcome Research Patrons - researchers who would develop, maintain and report on research conducted at and with Nokor Tep's staff. Additional privileges offered to Research Patrons would include

  • the design, development and implementation of research studies which fell within the guidelines and parameters of the Ethics Committee of Nokor Tep Women's Hospital
  • reporting on and presenting findings in seminars at the hospital as well as presentation of papers in journals and other appropriate printed materials
  • the opportunity to undertake research in a developing country where very little research has been conducted.
