Reasons why Companies or businesses working in Cambodia should sponsor the Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital.

Moral Costs:
1.    90% of their female workforce suffer from women’s gynecological issues – which are undiagnosed and untreated until the infections become body wide and difficult to treat
2.    Women’s cancers are increasing at an alarming rate – early studies of cervical cancer rates in Cambodia  indicate a 10% rate of cervical cancer in women – a cancer that can be prevented and cured if diagnosed early

Financial Costs:
1.    Companies who do provide health care for their workforce are faced with costly medical costs as staff are evacuated to neighboring countries for healthcare
2.    Companies who do not provide medical care often lose the investment of staff they have trained but leave because of medical issues
3.    80% of their male workforce deal with illnesses of their wives – causing undo financial strain on the family and result in labor unrest as workers demand more pay to cover these costs
4.    Women who are not well are unable to perform well at work or at home – often this is the underlying cause of family abuse and dismissal from the workforce

Corporate Costs:
1.    Companies and businesses who make a profit in Cambodia need to show their compassion for the country they work in otherwise they become known as profiteering  companies
2.    Companies and businesses will lose customers as it becomes known that they do not support women’s issues
3.    Companies will lose opportunities for growth as others begin to see them as uncaring

Moral Benefits:
1.    The reduction of women’s illnesses within the workforce will result in increased work performance and less turnover of the labor force
2.    Companies will be seen by their labor force as caring and compassionate resulting in loyalty and dedication by the labor force

Financial Benefits:
1.    Health care for all their female workers suffering from gynecological issues and women’s cancers will be reduced substantially  as women can be helped locally
2.    Women can return to work in less time
3.    Health costs to companies can be reduced sustainably by investing in an annual low cost insurance  for each of their female staff

Corporate Benefits:
1.    Companies and businesses who invest in the Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital will receive life time recognition on the reception walls of the hospital
2.    Companies and businesses will receive recognition through news paper advertising at the time that the hospital opens
3.    Representatives from each company or business that participates will be invited to the official opening of the hospital  - The Prime Minister Samdech Hun Sen will be the official ribbon cutter
