The 12 Riders DID IT!!!
The rainy August 31, Saturday afternoon ended the 1114km over 7 days and 44 hours-on-the-saddle RFNT 2013. Worth every second!
There have been many laughs, a few tears, some spills, grazes and bruises but when they arrived in Phnom Penh on that last day where they were greeted by almost 200 people family and friends from Tabitha - their achievement became tangible. They have seen the women in the countryside and in the cities that will be helped. They have seen the hospital site - a huge pit at the moment - but with piling going in which should finish in the next couple of weeks. Friendships have been forged that will always be there. It has been the culmination of months of training - an incredible week - one that will stay with all the riders and support crew forever.
Thanks to everyone for supporting the RFNT 2013 team and most especially the great cause, Nokor Tep Women's Hospital . The total amount raised is a few hundred dollars shy of US$90,000.
