Walkathon 2016
Fun and exercise was again experienced by walkers in the Fifth Annual Walkathon for Nokor Tep Women's Hospital.
Another Successful and full of fun event for a great cause!
It was a wonderful morning where 760 people of different nationalities and status joined together and was able to raise more or less US$50,000 and donations are still coming.
Most walkers are students and teachers, workers, farmers, families, vendors, bank staff and managers, business people, government people, free lance consultants and others....including a bunch of pet dogs. It composed of varied nationalities also...there are French, Germans, Americans, Spaniards, Japanese, Koreans, Filipinos, Chinese, Malaysians and others.
On behalf of Nokor Tep Women's Hospital, Co-foundersH.E. Dr.Ms. Ing Kantha Phavi, H.E. Vice Governor Mr. Trac Thai Sieng and Ms. Janne Ritskes, the Nokor Tep Group and the women of Cambodia salute and thank you for continually supporting and joining us to build this hospital which will eventually help the poor women of Cambodia who have cancers and are sick of gynecological diseases...who are in silent suffering and waiting.
