Walkathon 2014
On behalf of Nokor Tep Women's Hospital, the Co-Founders and the Walkathon Committee, a huge heartfelt thanks to ALL for your contribution to the outstanding success of our Third Annual Walkathon 2014.
More than 600 people from a wide range of different nationalities ̶ including Cambodians, Canadians, Australians, Americans, Germans, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans, Filipinos, Dutch, Spaniards, Israelites, Singaporeans, Thai ̶ raised $62,000 cash and $60,000 check (from a patron) and walked side-by-side to support the women of Cambodia and their dream to have just and equitable health care.
It was rewarding to see so many people committed to the vision of Nokor Tep ̶ rich and poor, politicians, company directors and employees, teachers, students, entrepreneurs, farmers, carpenters, etc, etc. And among the volunteers was a zumba instructor who lead the group in dancing.
The event was full of fun and everyone enjoyed the day.
Again, many thanks to all who participated and contributed in any way.
